Signifi cant features include:
Extreme value distributions for Type I (Gumbel) minimum and
maximum are available for non-life data. Type III minimum is the
Weibull so it is already available. Goodness of fi t for the Type I
distributions is now part of the distribution analysis using P-Value
estimate (pve%). The Type I maximum provides new capability for
estimating maximum loads, stresses, wind gusts, etc.
Maximum likelihood estimates, likelihood contours and likelihood
ratio tests are now adjusted for small sample bias. The basis for
this is the reduced bias adjustment (RBA) factor and the justifi ed
likelihood function (JLF) enhancements to the program. These
techniques are not available elsewhere.
Goodness of fi t is available for Crow-AMSAA compared to 10%
P-Value (above or below the 90% lower threshold for acceptable fi t).
Production process reliability has new graphical and interactive
features enhancing this unique Weibull application.
Failure forecasts and warranty forecasts include all possibilities for
input especially seasonal variation or distribution profi les in usage
and production schedules. There are now different output formats
such as MTBF forecasts, Occurrence Rate forecasts, Availability
forecasts, plus Crow-AMSAA format forecasts.
Crow-AMSAA and failure forecasting may be based on cost analysis
or on event analysis. There are several output formats easily selected
for Crow-AMSAA like MTBF, RATE, EXPR (exponential), and AVAL
(availability).
