800 Mhz Radio System, Anderson County, SC Anderson County Emergency Services

Anderson County, SC faced many problems with their old VHS radio communications system for Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire Departments, and other first responders. The new system, operating in the 800 MHz band, is a part of the Palmetto 800 South Carolina State Network, and now gives better than 95% coverage of the County 95% of the time. This video exemplifies the importance of such a communications system.
